Reconnecting in Person at Distributech 2026
Last week, members of the Second Sight Systems team spent time at Distributech 2026 in San Diego and came back reminded of why this work, and the people behind it, matter so much.
There’s real value in stepping away from screens and schedules to reconnect face-to-face. Throughout the week, we had the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with existing customers while also forming new connections that started as quick introductions and turned into real conversations. It was a full week in the best way.
The Importance of Being Together
One of the highlights of the week was time spent with our internal team — colleagues we collaborate with daily but don’t often get to see in person in a remote work environment. Being in the same room, sharing ideas, aligning on what’s ahead, and simply connecting on a human level brought a welcome energy and clarity to the entire week.
Moments like this matter. They help keep teams aligned and make us better partners to the utilities and organizations we support.
Looking Ahead
We’re grateful for the conversations, the time together, and the momentum coming out of Distributech 2026. Events like this are a reminder that strong relationships with customers, partners, and our own teams are still at the core of how this work gets done.
Onward.
