Another water meter installation project in the win column! In February 2020, through a partnership with Ferguson Waterworks, Second Sight Systems Utility Metering Division was awarded an AMI water meter replacement contract for Johnson County Special Utility District in Texas near the Dallas/Ft Worth area. The Second Sight metering team will be responsible for replacing approximately 4,000 – 5,000 existing residential water meters and replacing them with new AMI Mueller Water Meters.
In conjunction with the AMI water meter installation deployment, the Technical Services Division of Second Sight was also contracted by Ferguson to install a portion of the Network Infrastructure System (Mueller). Scope of Work for the wireless backhaul includes mounting of collectors, TTU’s and antenna on utility poles and water towers for both Johnson County Special Utility District and nearby Dalworthington Gardens.
