Second Sight Systems Wins Second Fiber Splicing Contract with Evergy! (2021)

After outstanding work previously completed by our Fiber Services team for Evergy in the region of Tarkio and Marysville, Missouri in the spring of 2021, Second Sight Systems has been awarded a second contract by Evergy– this time for Phase 2 in the Marysville and St Joseph, Missouri region! This Fiber Splicing project commenced in August 2021 with an anticipated completion date sometime in late September. This project includes as many as 40 splices over several sites in the region. The previous contract was very similar scope involving approximately 45 splices of OPGW Fiber.
Second Sight Systems is proud to be partnering with Evergy in Missouri/Kansas in supporting their Fiber Services. SSS has seen tremendous growth and opportunity in the utility fiber splicing segment of the company and is looking forward to expanding this part of the company with 2022 around around the corner.
